BSA A65 Offset Crankshaft

BSA A65 unit crankshaft after balancing and nitriding. These cranks have sludge trap plug hole on the timing side only. This plug can be welded closed if required. An in-line oil filter is recommended for all Ed G Cranks offset crankshafts. This image shows the stock timing-side journal using a bronze bushing which is fine for 650 or 750 barrels in combination with a high-pressure oil pump. Journal wear is considerably reduced as the crankshaft is nitrided.
