BSA and Triumph Flywheel Options

Typical Ed G Cranks flywheel designed for a BSA or Triumph crankshaft is shown at right. Heavy flywheel option is shown at left. The heavier flywheel makes the engine slighter smoother in comparison to the standard offset crankshaft flywheel. Recommended for those that tour two-up, enjoy long-distance riding or would like BMW air-head-like smoothness. The heavy flywheel crankshaft is still lighter then a stock crankshaft so acceleration is still enhanced. The price is the same for a standard light flywheel BSA or Triumph crankshaft or for an offset crankshaft with the heavy flywheel option. Note that the heavy flywheel option will be discontinued on September 1, 2015.
